Whole Poblano Peppers (in brine) are a brilliant way to bring authentic Mexican flavours to your kitchen. These deep green peppers are carefully roasted and peeled, then preserved in brine to keep their soft texture with a gentle bite. The taste is slightly bitter yet refreshing, with a light pepperiness that works beautifully in a range of dishes.
They are the younger version of Ancho peppers, offering a unique taste profile that adds depth to your prepared vegetables. The soft texture holds up well in both hot and cold applications, making them versatile for everything from tacos to salads. They are especially good in plantain tacos with poblano peppers and chipotle salsa. Simply drain and cut to your desired size, then add to your dish.
If you are looking for a pepper that delivers a refreshing, less sweet flavour and a true taste of Mexico, these Whole Poblano Peppers are a great choice. Perfect for chefs who want to create genuine Mexican dishes with ease.
