Mini Poppadom Uncooked Discs are a brilliant addition to any kitchen looking to serve up authentic Indian flavours in a fun, bite-sized way. These small, pale yellow discs are dotted with bubbles of all sizes and take on a lovely shine once fried. They’re quick to prepare – just drop a handful into a deep fryer at 180°C for about 30 seconds until they puff up and float. Drain well and they’re ready to serve.
The taste is gently salty with a subtle lentil flavour and a delightful toasted aroma. They’re moreish and have a satisfying crunch that holds up well to sauces, yet they dissolve nicely on the tongue. Pair them with Indian chutneys, pickles, coconut yoghurt, tamarind, pomegranate molasses, curry pastes, or even dhal and chickpeas. They’re perfect for finger buffets, snack bars, canteen-style service, or as a garnish for Indian-style meals and canapés.
Made in the UK without any of the 14 major allergens they suit a wide range of dietary preferences.
