A survey of 10,000 Brits has revealed the most essential elements of a roast dinner. Gravy came out on top with 97% considering it indispensable. Other top choices include roast potatoes (94%), meat (84%), Yorkshire puddings (84%), and carrots (81%).
When it comes to gravy, 89.5% of respondents prefer homemade. For an amazing gravy, our chef recommends enhancing it with red cooking wine, vegan Worcestershire sauce, and dried thyme.
